This is not your grandfather's 1985 Jeep CJ7. While Bent Motorsports may lean into the "throwback" vibe of the original, this Jeep was fully torn down to the ground and re-built. The suspension uses front and back Dana 44" axles (making it much wider) from a Jeep JK that have been stripped down and fabricated to work with the CJ's leaf spring set up. The exterior features all the vintage elements of the CJ7 that give it a "straight out of 1985" feel: OEM paint finish, Renegade decals, factory CJ7 badging, and chrome accents and mirrors.
This build made its debut at the King of The Hammers, taking on the Everyman challenge. Method Race Wheels 105 beadlocks were essential in navigating the gnarly rock heavy course. While technically a 4600 class race vehicle, this CJ7 is actually street legal! The custom built dash is even complete with the proper auto meter gauges to be street driven.
